China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair-Shenzhen

China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair ¨C Shenzhen, the first international jewellery event to be held in Southern China in 2013, opened today with more than 380 exhibitors from around the world showcasing their newest designs and the classic favourites. Jointly organised by UBM China Holdings Ltd, UBM China (Guangzhou) Co Ltd and the China Gold Association, the Fair runs until 1 March at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Ms Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs, UBM Asia Ltd noted the Fair¡¯s steady growth. ¡°China¡¯s appetite for jewellery remains enormous. The prospects for the jewellery industry and for the Fair are even more promising particularly because a number of third- and fourth-tier cities are reinforcing China's jewellery market. There has never been a better time to get out to China and tap the market opportunities on offer. The Shenzhen Fair puts jewellery suppliers right where the action is,¡± said Ms Lau. The 11th edition of the Fair features exhibitors from over 380 countries and regions in 22,000 square metres of exhibition space.
